Earl’s preassembled braided stainless steel brake not only look good, they reduce system corrosion and provide the user with a reassuringly responsive braking system, eliminating the “spongey” feel often found with original manufacturers’ rubber hoses.

Earl’s Speed-Flex™ brake lines can be supplied as individual components from our range of reusable fittings, enabling hose systems to be assembled by the customer, or as complete ready-to-fit assemblies.

Our swaged Speed-Flex™ brake line kits offer a slimline lightweight fitting manufactured from high grade mild steel or stainless steel swaged onto stainless steel braided hose and featuring an extruded Teflon™ inner, and come complete with all copper crush washers. They are available in a choice of clear or coloured protective outer covering.

Standard car brake hoses are manufactured from synthetic rubber reinforced with multiple layers of fabric braid. They were originally designed for use with drum brakes, but when disc brakes were developed for the racing industry it became apparent that a brake hose was required which could accommodate much higher pressures and temperatures than the expanding standard rubber
brake hoses could.

In the mid 1960’s Earl’s pioneered the use of Speed-Flex™ extruded Teflon® stainless steel braided hose to solve this problem. The stiffness of the Teflon® liner combined with the outer stainless steel woven braid eliminated excess pedal travel, sponginess and brake fade, dramatically increasing the reassuring firmness of the braking system.

Available with either zinc plated, mild steel or stainless steel fittings, coupled with our Speed-Flex™ hose, Earl’s brake line kits are the obvious choice for the discerning road or race user.

When ordering, state the make, model, engine size & year of your vehicle, and if there are any modifications which may affect the routing of hoses or the threads required. The majority of kits can be dispatched withinin 48 hours depending on quantities ordered and stock availability.

We supply a vast number of brake line kits, however sometimes there are instances where we may not have a specification for your vehicle. If this is the case, Earl's are willing to give discounts to customers who send their original hoses for us to replicate.
